Simona and Anzhela ended up in good hands as little kittens. Unfortunately, there was only one pair of hands, while there were many more homeless kittens wishing to live in safety and comfort. Simona didn't complain; her bowl was always filled with food. Yet, on some intuitive level, she sensed a yearning for something kind, close, and familiar. She didn't dare hope for special attention from her owner, as that person had far too many dependents. Besides, there weren’t frequent visitors in their home, so there was no one to ask for companionship. Volunteers assisted the woman in finding homes for the animals, and one day it was time for the sisters to head to the rescue center.
