Lyutik ended up at the animal shelter due to circumstances beyond his control. He was an ordinary house cat, confident about the future.

But his family had to bring home their grandmother. As fate would have it, the grandmother turned out to be allergic to cats. And... that’s how Lyutik was given up to the shelter.
