Fiona was found in the very center of Saint Petersburg—on a rainy September day, she was giving birth to kittens right in the bushes. She was taken in along with her newborn babies, treated for rhinotracheitis, and sterilized. At first, the plan was to return her to the yard, but hearts were touched—so Fiona stayed at the animal shelter.
